OF COURSE she was loved! She was awesome. I only wish I could have seized the chances to make that clear more often.

I moved to Cypress 6th grade with no friends. I didnt know anyone. first day of 6th grade was the scariest thing for me due to the fact that i was in the process of learning english. we used to go to advisory first thing in the morning on the first day of school and i sat in mrs pattersons class by myself and jerusha asked me to sit with her and introduced me to a few more people and helped me out to get around and learn more english. miss you gorgeous.

She drove me to do some volunteer service one time. I was amazed that she drove stick shift on a car that she was paying for herself. Whether her lips were turned upwards or not, her crystal blue eyes made me smile. She was beautiful woman, inside and out, and the one car ride with her showed that there was something besides her name that made her stand out from the other senior girls that I knew. May she rest.

I know you suffered for your sanity in this life, but now you are at peace dear sister. I shall look for your radiant smile at His coming. Come Lord Jesus! 1Th 4:13 But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, which have no hope. 1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

i really didnt get a chance to know her that well either. we worked together at kroger a little bit, but we didnt really talk at work because i was in the deli, but i stayed in touch with her a little bit. we would talk on AIM every once in awhile. i went out to dinner with her once at the olive garden, and she came over to my house once and we watched a movie. she was a good kid who really seemed genuine and happy. she liked to laugh and smile and have a good time - shes one of those people that you never forget about, because right when you first meet her you realize just how smart and gifted she is. the world lost a good one, my prayers go to her family. RIP jerusha

I can't say that I ever met or knew Jerusha personally. However, I am more than familiar with the plight that killed her. In January 2002, I attempted suicide and ended up in the emergency room and luckily I survived. Clinical depression is a very real disease that is curable and preventable with the right combination of medication and therapy and lots of support from our brothers and sisters in Christ. I was one of the lucky ones who survived and got the help I needed. I don't know the circumstances of why she felt the need to take her own life but unfortunately it's a very common tale that I am all too familiar with. So if you can see someone who is depressed or withdrawn, talk to them and if they talk about suicide, arrange for them to get professional help immediately! Hopefully Christ will return soon and all the misery and suffering of this present world will be eradicated! RIP Jerusha.

I met Jerusha at Attica, whether it was 2005 or 2006 I don't quite remember. I wish I did. She was a wonderful person with an incredible mind. My hope is that when I do see her again, Christ will have returned, and all the pain and suffering from this world will have faded away...

Despite all the times we crossed paths in 10th grade chemistry, working as checkers at Kroger, and at TAMS, I never got to know Jerusha very well. She was always extremely kind and outgoing and talked to me whether I looked like I wanted to or not, and gestures like that made things like TAMS a bit easier to handle. I regret not taking the opportunity to get to know her better and return her kindness and enthusiasm. RIP Jerusha.
