i remember spending the night at her house in elementary school and walking around her neighborhood, just looking at the horses and petting them. a couple of the girls in our 4th grade class decided to put on some play and we practiced for like two weeks at recess, then put it on for our parents at her house. it was hilarious. i used to think to myself sometimes, "i wonder how shes doing" or "i wish i had gotten to know her better" it's really unfortunate that it takes such a huge thing to make you really want to go out and tell everyone you ever knew how much you love them and appreciate them.. r.i.p. beautiful. <3

i met Jerusha over six years ago, at colorado bible school. she was very smart and filled with joy. over the years i had seen that joy grow and flourish. When I heard she was to be baptized this year, i was thrilled to no end. when i heard of this recent tragedy, it hit me harder than anything had before. i will never understand what drove her to such a move as this, but i can only say that it is in Gods hands.

I met Jerusha just last year for the first time at Texas Bible school in the summer, I was also priveleged to meet her youngest sister Bethany and share in a week of spiritual growth at another Bible camp we attended together. I may have only spoken to her once or twice but I remember her smile and am deeply saddened by this news. May her family find comfort in Gods word of truth and the love of all their brethren and sisters worldwide.

I went to high school with Jerusha and sat in front of her in a few of our classes. She left after sophomore year, but she was a beautiful person that I will always remember. I am in Corpus Christi going to school, but I plan to come home for the funeral.

Indeed, I never saw Jerusha without a smile at any time of the day. She was so brilliant, and she had so many plans to serve the world and help others... May her family find peace in knowing that God is mysterious and His ways are unfathomable.

I met Jerusha about a year and a half ago on a road trip to Atlanta for an Amnesty International conference. She was such a beautiful, sweet, kind loving girl. I had to look through the pictures in this group to really know it was her, I can't believe this happened. Jerusha, you are deeply loved and will be missed.
